Climbing Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Prefecture Travel Pre-registration 2024

The Mount Fuji climbing season began in July.

Since July, our shop has also seen an increase in overseas customers coming from the Yoshidaguchi trail.

We would also like to thank our customers who stopped by on their way back from hiking in the mornings of July 10th and 11th, when the hiking route from the Shizuoka Prefecture side was opened.

Praying for everyone's safety on their climb up Mount Fuji, we also assisted with the sound system for the opening ceremony for the climb on July 1st.

Now, starting this year, 2024, there have been various changes to the rules for the climbing routes from the Yamanashi Prefecture side and the Shizuoka Prefecture side.

Today I'd like to talk to people who have registered for the hiking routes on the Shizuoka side of the prefecture.

The other day, I was involved in some work at JR Gotemba Station, providing guidance for climbing Mount Fuji.

Did you all know?

"Before the trip" registration

I was curious and looked into it, and it seems you need to pre-register!!

For more information on climbing Mt. Fuji, please see this website:

Even if you live in Gotemba, it is common for Mt. Fuji to look beautiful in the morning but not be visible during the day, so please do not push yourself to climb Mt. Fuji when the weather is not favorable.

Maybe I'll try to climb Mt. Fuji this year too.

That's the kind of blog it is.
